It has been made very obvious to the American public that the Obama administration was filled with horrendous scandals. The question we are unable to answer is if these scandals were created to intentionally harm the American people, or were they created based on sheer administration incompetence?
Regardless of the answer, Obama spent a goodly portion of time and energy to stuff as many of his scandals inside his closet before he left office, praying that Trump would be unable to find them.
Well, Obama’s closet of scandal skeletons wasn’t so hard to find. In fact, President Trump just caught a big scandal and he is giving it to Congress to institute full justice against this terrible former president.
In short, Obama is officially done for. Absolute toast.
From The Blaze:
After six years of fighting their release, the Department of Justice will hand over documents related to the botched Obama-era program dubbed “Operation Fast and Furious” to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, according to a statement released today by the DOJ.
The DOJ blamed the long delay on “the previous administration’s refusal to produce documents requested by the Committee.” The documents will be released as part of a “conditional settlement agreement” with the committee, although the statement did not specify what the details of that agreement were. The settlement has been filed in federal court.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in the statement, “The Department of Justice under my watch is committed to transparency and the rule of law. This settlement agreement is an important step to make sure that the public finally receives all the facts related to Operation Fast and Furious.”
The American people are owed answers as to why Operation Fast and Furious was a shocking failure that caused the loss of life and loss of firearms to the enemy.
Congress needs to go through all of those documents with a fine-toothed comb and unearth any damning evidence that is owed either to Barack Obama or his lackey Eric Holder. They need to be held accountable for allowing such a dismal operational failure.
For the sake of the family members who lost their loved one, justice needs to be served. And for the sake of the protection of Americans, Congress needs to step up and ensure that another disastrous operation never happens again.
