Democrats and their pals in the press have gone to extraordinary lengths to advance the nonsense narrative on alleged ties between President Donald Trump and Russia.
All the while, there’s been an earth-shattering example of actual collusion that has been completely swept under the carpet.
There have long been whispers about the seediness surrounding a certain Russia deal that bolstered the coffers of the Clinton family, but those whispers have now evolved into roars. As such, there’s simply no way the story can be ignored any longer.
The Hill has the scoop.
An FBI informant connected to the Uranium One controversy told three congressional committees in a written statement that Moscow routed millions of dollars to America with the expectation it would be used to benefit Bill Clinton‘s charitable efforts while Secretary of State Hillary Clinton quarterbacked a “reset” in US-Russian relations.
The informant, Douglas Campbell, said in the statement obtained by The Hill that he was told by Russian nuclear executives that Moscow had hired the American lobbying firm APCO Worldwide specifically because it was in position to influence the Obama administration, and more specifically Hillary Clinton.
Unsurprisingly, this bombshell revelation has been met with the sound of crickets from the mainstream press.
Can you imagine what would be going on right now if the name Clinton was replaced with Trump in the informant’s explosive statement?
All hell would be breaking loose as the revelation was being hailed as the nail in the coffin of the Trump presidency.
Campbell said Russian nuclear officials “told me at various times that they expected APCO to apply a portion of the $3 million annual lobbying fee it was receiving from the Russians to provide in-kind support for the Clinton’s Global Initiative,” he added in the testimony.
“The contract called for four payments of $750,000 over twelve months. APCO was expected to give assistance free of charge to the Clinton Global Initiative as part of their effort to create a favorable environment to ensure the Obama administration made affirmative decisions on everything from Uranium One to the U.S.-Russia Civilian Nuclear Cooperation agreement. “
The Uranium One deal has stunk to high heaven ever since it first started coming to light, and the scent is becoming even more pungent in the wake of Campbell’s statement.
There needs to be a serious investigation into this once and for all, as there are far too many signs that Hillary Clinton ran the State Department on a pay to play basis.
A failure to do just that will even further damage the already tattered credibility of the swamp creatures in the nation’s capital.
