Court Makes Stealth Move Against Pro-Arabian Group In California

In a perfect world, school districts across the nation would operate with a singular goal in mind: to educate our nation’s children in the most efficient manner possible while helping to prepare them for the real world.

Unfortunately, that’s not happening. The education system is infested with agendas aimed at brainwashing pupils into seeing only one side of the argument while expressing outrage against those that may see things differently.

Outside influences do all that they can to ensure the status quo remains in place, and there’s little that concerned parents can do about it. Unless they fight back, that is.

In today’s story, parents worked alongside the court to stop a pro-Sharia group from infiltrating the school system. What the court just did to this radical Muslim group is nothing short of astounding and worthy of applause.

From The Daily Caller:

Pressure is mounting against the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) for its controversial partnership with the San Diego Unified School District in developing an anti-Islamophobia bullying initiative that was enacted last April.

Investigative subpoenas were issued Wednesday afternoon to CAIR’s chapter in California that seek all communications and documents concerning its involvement in creating the allegedly unconstitutional initiative.

CAIR-California will need to produce the documents within 10 days, or it risks facing legal penalties for being held in contempt of court, according to the Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund (FCDF), a religious liberty group that issued the subpoenas.

To be clear, there’s no place for bullying anywhere in life, let alone in the school system.

That said, a peek behind the curtain reveals that CAIR has other motivations at play here, and a group of parents in the district isn’t having it.

The FCDF is representing a group of concerned parents who expressed outrage that the San Diego public school system had allowed CAIR, an openly religious group that seeks to promote the Islamic faith, to influence public school curriculum in the form of an anti-bullying initiative.

The multi-year plan, developed with assistance from CAIR, called for adding Muslim holidays to staff calendars, introducing new library materials on Muslim culture, encouraging Muslim-centered high school clubs, creating “safe spaces” for Muslim students and providing staff training about Muslim culture.

Hats off to the parents for stepping up to the plate and crying foul here, and sincere kudos to the court for removing political nonsense from the equation.

It’s a lot harder to do that than it should be these days, as those with incredibly loud voices will do all that they can to stifle opposition while outrageously claiming how inclusive they are.

A tentative hearing is scheduled for next month, and this one bears watching. It represents a sign that parents across the nation are fed up with the attempted indoctrination of their children, and we’ll keep our fingers crossed that this group of concerned folks will continue to push the issue as far as they possibly can.
